![]() Again this issue only started after updating MSI Center v.61 with 22h2 working well for several weeks before the MSI Center Update.Īll drivers and BIOS are up to date, again no issues before updating to v.61. Since then, after setting my refresh rate to 60Hz, every time I boot or reboot while plugged in, my refresh rate is automatically changed back to 240 Hz (Default?) after logging into Windows (MSI Center disabled in Start-up) and I have to change it back to 60Hz. Microsoft recently updated the MSI Center to v.61. Not a problem because I will be video processing and will adjust for max performance with max fans, as my CPU temps will hit 95c and start throttling without max fans. ![]() ![]() If I launch MSI Center when I need it, it will automatically set my refresh rate to 240Hz. I also disabled everything (including MSI Center) in the task manager start-up except Windows Security. These same task do not require 240Hz and at 60Hz the fans do not run at all. I found with a default 240Hz refresh rate there are some apps and task I do that will cause the fans to run or pulsate on low which is annoying. I set my refresh rate at 60Hz for most of my computer work, except when gaming or video processing. I use my GS76UG laptop mostly plugged in at my desk.
